Return to the Orinoco

Herpetologist Will Thacker and his traveling companion, Dr. Joann McVay, return to the remote Venezuelan village where they recently befriended the indigenous Piaroa people. A huge rogue crocodile was on the rampage. People had gone missing and the Piaroa chief had been severely injured.

The pair again teams up with Tom McClimon, the former Army Ranger and bush pilot who had brought them to the river the first time. A team of archeologists working nearby lends a hand as they attempt to discover the reason for the old croc’s aberrant behavior. Suddenly, their work is interrupted by a band of violent outlaws bent on destroying the peaceful nature of the village.

Inspired by true events, it’s an exciting tale filled with fascinating characters and unexpected twists. You won’t be able to put it down.
